March-in-Gamecan

August in Gamecan

Sep 20, 2022

August was filled with Full Cycle Game Academy preparation and an exciting game industry event!

Gamescom 2022

In August two of our team members, Abhilash and Ronnie went to represent Gamecan @ Gamescom 2022. Gamescom is a trade fair for video games held annually at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.

After a year or two of quarantines, arriving at Gamescom was an amazing experience for Ronnie & Abhilash. There were already tons of people on the 1st day for tradeshow visitors with lines swarming everywhere.
They went to this convention to support the Baltic industry, Gamecan, & Full Cycle Game Academy. They had amazing talks with people from the industry. Indies to AAA developers shared their experiences during the convention and during the after-parties. There isn’t really much to talk about now as most of the talks they had are related to our current project and we are pretty excited to tell more about it when we can.

That is something everyone can look forward to. Make sure to keep a close eye on us for the latest updates on what game we are building. In the meantime, here’s Ronnie the red being sus.

Full Cycle is now up and running!

It took a lot of hard work and dedication, but Full Cycle Game Academy is now ready for our students. On the 27th of August, our team went to assemble all the tables and chairs for the classroom. Luckily our team is good at handy work and the process didn’t take long. Within 4 hours, the room transformed into a real classroom!
Huge thanks to the Gamecan team and our QA boys!

It takes a little more than tables and chairs to complete the classroom. It’s all in the details – bathroom supplies, coffee maker, snacks, whiteboard, projector and projector screen. It was a busy week for all of us to make sure nothing necessary wasn’t missing. Many thanks to Maret and her partner for assembling our projector screen on a Saturday! Now all our students can look forward to computer assembly.

Thank you to everyone who made Full Cycle Game Academy possible!

See you next month!
