January in Gamecan

Feb 14, 2023

Happy 2023! We started off a new year with educational experience, hosted visitors, had celebrations and welcomed new members to our team!

Learning financial skills

Our team had an amazing opportunity to learn money-smarts tricks and tips from the talented investor Kristi Saare.

Kristi Saare is a young and ambitious entrepreneur who has made a significant impact in the business world. She started her first business at the age of 17. Kristi’s first venture was a fashion brand that quickly gained popularity among young people. In addition to her fashion brand, Kristi has also become involved in a number of other business ventures, including technology and real estate.

She provided valuable tips and insights on budgeting, saving and investing that were tailored for our international team.

Startup Estonia

We had the pleasure to welcome Startup Estonia community at our office! Startup Estonia is a governmental initiative aimed to create more success stories of startup companies in Estonia by developing three building blocks: availability of human resources and capital, open and connected community and services, and transparent and straightforward regulative infrastructure. They were interested to see what Gamecan is up to and wanted to know the plans we have with Full Cycle Game Academy.

Our CEO Marten Palu gave them a tour in our new office and shared our company vision and goals for the future. We continued on to the education topic as our Head of Education and Marketing Maret Saluste introduced our plans for the next school year. We are opening five different curriculums in autumn 2023 at the Full Cycle Game Academy.

Indian Culture event

The Embassy of India invited us to an evening of Rajasthani Folk Music and dance by the “Panihari Lok Sangeet Group” at Nooruse house. The group, consisting of talented musicians and dancers, took the stage and transported the audience to the vibrant and colorful world of Rajasthani folk music. The musicians played traditional instruments like the Dholak, Harmonium and Sarangi, and their melodies were accompanied by the energetic and mesmerizing dance performances. The performance was a perfect blend of music, dance, and storytelling, and it showcased the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan. The evening was filled with joy, chats and an unforgettable experience for everyone who attended.

Celebrating birthdays

We have a tradition to celebrate all of our team members birthdays. Usually with birthday cake and various refreshments. On 3rd of January Maret, our Head of Education and Marketing, had a birthday! We had different delicious pies for lunch and celebration drinks, so everyone felt really festive.
